With the added freshness of our All Purpose Flour and Bread Flour  -- along with mozzarella and basil, every bite bursts with flavor. Put simply, it's fresh, flavorful, and irresistible!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ cups Farm2Flour all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Farm2Flour bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ½ to 4 ounces cubed fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 ¼ cups buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Grease an 8x4-inch pan.

  3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well.

  4. Add basil and mozzarella to the flour mixture.

  5. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, oil, and buttermilk until smooth.

  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix until dough is formed. NOTE: Dough will be sticky.

  7. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan, spreading out evenly.

  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
